  • Manage operations, finance, logistics, and analytics for agency. 
  • Direct implementation of Streamline Electronic Health Record (EHR) for the Agency.
  • Participate in team development and leadership activities within the agency that maximize achievement of the agency’s mission.
  • Perform duties of HIPAA Privacy Officer for agency assuring compliance with all legal requirements including documentation and timely reporting. 


  • Oversee financial operations including accounting, billing, cash flow, and budgeting according to agency policies.  Assure maintenance of internal controls. 
  • Produce reports and provide analytical support needed to measure outputs, program outcomes, and monitor performance according to budgetary, contractual, and service goals.
  • Maximize effectiveness of operations support services in assuring reception, intake processes, med clinic supports, records management, etc.
  • Oversee purchasing activities for the agency in a manner that complies with policies, assures best value, and ensures availability of equipment and resources needed for personnel to deliver effective services.      
  • Oversee all contracted services and facilities management i.e. maintenance, security, technology, etc. to assure terms and conditions are met. Monitor such contracts in out-of-county locations through delegation to site-based supervisors.
  • Coordinate planning and resources related to staff workspace needs, functional space for individuals served, and resources to assure privacy and safety for all.
  • Assure InterAct meets individual service documentation and systems requirements including demographics, authorizations, service activity data, admissions/discharges and assure records meet quality and contractual standards.             
  • Monitor accuracy of service note entries according to contract requirements and ensure they are translated into appropriate billing codes.
  • Collaborate with the Information Technology Director to develop and run reports that meet the needs of the agency and assure the integrity of the data.
  • Oversee management of all new referrals assuring initial contacts are scheduled, authorizations are in place, and required data is up-to-date for InterAct as well as the funding agency’s EHR.
  • Ensure personnel have the appropriate permissions for their work assignments.
  • Serve as lead contact between funders and InterAct on EHR issues.  Ensure data is accurate and meets contract requirements.
  • Function as lead contact for EHR provider; coordinate new projects and budgets, manage systems changes and day-to-day trouble-shooting. Assure staff training.
  • Partner with the CEO and others to promote a culture of high performance, continuous Improvement, and effective communication.
  • Facilitate cross-department collaboration that ensures InterAct’s administrative operations positively support the agency’s service delivery, data collection, and strategic needs.
  • Establish and monitor direct staff performance and development goals; assign accountabilities, set objectives and priorities; and ensure completion of annual performance evaluations.  Provide regular feedback and supervision through individual and/or group sessions.
  •  Build and maintain positive relationships with InterAct management, Board of Directors, funders and provider network organizations.
  •  Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management and participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the leadership team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting plus minimum five years related experience or related Associates degree plus seven years related experience required.
  • Five years management and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable about legal requirements for HIPAA  preferred.
  • Excellent organizational ability including attention to details and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Proficient in analysis using data base programs to provide program and financial data.
  • Proven administrative skills and excellent follow through on multi-stage projects. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate and exchange information with members of administration, entire staff and outside organizations.
  • Knowledgeable about and supportive of culturally competent, recovery and trauma informed practices.
  • Ability to connect with and demonstrate organizational core values of compassion, integrity and diversity.
  • Lived experiences with behavioral health issues are welcomed.
