Finance Specialist - Kalamazoo

Description: 

Assist with the functions of the agency finance department, including payee services.

Responsibilities: 
  • Perform downloads and prepare reports.
  • Process payables.
  • Assist with the accounts receivable process.
  • Assist in the billing functions for the agency.
  • Record journal entries.
  • Perform reconciliations.
Requirements: 

Minimum Requirements:   

  • Minimum 1-year education or training in accounting, finance and/or bookkeeping principles. Associates degree preferred.
  • Minimum one-year related finance experience
  • Proficient in Excel spreadsheets/workbooks
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently and with others
  • Ability to flexible with duties performed (duties may vary depending upon needs of the department)
