Operations/Finance Specialist - Kalamazoo

Description: 

Performs support to the operations and financial functions of the agency. Key skills necessary include advanced MS Excel skills, excellent problem-solving and attention to detail, data entry, electronic health record (EHR), willingness to perform a variety of tasks and ability to ask questions.

Responsibilities: 
  • Assist agency with management of client and / or financial data and completion of reports.
    • Perform data entry of information into EHR’s
    • Communicate information between funding systems and clinical staff
    • Processing of payments and billing claims
    • Track and manage information in excel spreadsheets
    • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
    • Follow prescribed checklists/procedures
  • Comply with procedures, standards, and policies for agency operations, including Code of Ethical Conduct. Demonstrate flexibility to adjust with the agency as it adapts to current and future needs.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements: 

High School diploma or equivalent required—two years of college preferred.  Previous experience working in mental health, or human service setting preferred.  Billing experience appreciated.
